Roopam W. Sure is an enterprise AI, platform architecture, and technology transformation leader with 20+ years of experience designing, modernizing, and scaling mission-critical systems across regulated and complex environments. Her work spans enterprise AI governance, sovereign AI, governed knowledge systems, agentic AI control, ModelOps, retrieval-augmented generation, cloud modernization, DevOps, middleware integration, data platforms, and automation.
She currently serves as a technology executive and CTO for regulated programs at IBM Canada, where her work has included AI-driven transformation, secure modernization, reusable model services, RAG architectures, governance controls, and sovereign AI and infrastructure resilience topics. Her earlier experience includes AI, middleware, and platform integration leadership at IBM; DevOps platform leadership at Scientific Games Digital; cloud and DevOps modernization at Azara Tech; financial-services data-platform modernization at Alkris Financial Technologies; and enterprise CRM and analytics delivery leadership at Accenture.
Her independent research focuses on how enterprises can move AI from experimentation to governed production by connecting policy, identity, memory, provenance, retrieval, observability, evaluation, and human oversight into practical operating models for trusted enterprise intelligence.
